Learning based on competences

Our academic program based on competences assures our students to able to relate what they learn at school with what they see in their daily and academic life, developing reasoning aimed at problem solving and decision-making. Education based on competences focuses on learning, not on teaching, and its approach is an essential tool in our model of integral formation. It fosters knowledge, self-training, training of intellectual skills and, above all, the formation of virtues and values.

The aim of the education based on competences approach is that students apply their knowledge, skills and attitudes in different contexts or learning environments.

In order for us to achieve this, we use different learning methodologies such as: projects, problem-based learning, design of learning centers, resolution of cases, among others. In all cases, the active and proactive participation of students is essential, since he must show the integration of intellectual, social, personal and emotional skills achieved.
